The Chrysler Peapod prototype got a pretty interesting new feature, allowing your iPhone / iPod working as the ignition key. Chrysler has the needed app to make the magic work, however if you still want to start your car the old way, you will still have a normal car key. Nevertheless this is another step into the future, next to BMW having their tochnology, whcih automaticly preventing the door it from hitting objects when opened and mercedes split view system.
